My First Sequence
I Spent the winter of 2025 in Backpack journalism where we learned how to shoot and edit videos. Learning how to use the camera and using the video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro. Learning how to introduce continuity between shots and creating smooth transitions. Putting the blur effects was a lot harder than it looked but, I loved this class and look forward to doing more shooting and editing.
Video Shot Assignment
I learned how to use the Sony PXW-Z150 and had to complete a series of shots to fulfill this assignment. Taking shots outside when it’s overcast with clouds makes it very hard to get the white balance right. In some shots you can see the contrast of having the correct white balance and how it changes how a scene may feel. It helped me explore different directions to take my potential videos in. I loved doing this a look forward to making many more videos!
